AI transparency
We build AI tools and we use AI in our own work. This page says where, which providers we rely on, what happens to your data and what we will not do. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy and App and AI Tools Terms.
Where AI is used
| Product or feature | What the AI does | Human involvement |
|---|---|---|
| Free findability score and the Findability app | Asks AI engines about your store, scores their answers alongside traditional SEO checks, writes the recommendations and the prompts you can paste into your own tools | None before you see the result. You decide what to act on |
| Agentic Team subscription | Agents manage performance marketing, SEO, AEO, email flows and site health within the policies and budgets you set | A person reviews exceptions and anything outside policy. You can pause the agents at any time |
| Assistant on our website | Answers questions about Human Forward and helps you book a session | You can ask for a person at any point, or email hello@humanforward.io |
| Community platform | Supports moderation, suggests people, groups and events, and summarises activity | Brands set the moderation rules. Decisions that affect a member's access are made by people |
| Our own work | Drafting, research and analysis in sessions and client work | Everything that reaches a client is reviewed by a person |
You will always know
- When you are talking to an AI rather than a person. Our website assistant says so, and you can switch to a person
- When content we give you was generated by AI
- Which engines a score is based on and when it was run
The providers we use
Our tools use models from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Perplexity, xAI and DeepSeek, under their business API terms. Those terms mean your inputs and outputs are not used to train their models. We do not train our own models on your data. DeepSeek is based in China and receives only public store content, never account or customer data. Our Privacy Policy has the detail on data, retention and transfers.
What we will not do
- Let AI alone make decisions about people that have legal or similarly significant effects on them
- Use AI to profile members of a community for advertising
- Generate fake reviews, testimonials or endorsements, or help anyone else to
- Hide that something is AI generated where the law or a platform requires disclosure
- Sell your inputs or outputs
Our agents make mistakes
Our agents are the website assistant, the Findability app and its connector, and the agents in our subscription services. They run on large language models, and those models sometimes give answers that are wrong, out of date or misleading while sounding completely sure of themselves. The industry word for it is hallucinating. It happens because a model predicts plausible text rather than looking facts up, because its training data has a cutoff and it can be confused about anything recent, and because a quote or a number can sound authoritative without being grounded in anything real. The same question can get a different answer on a different day.
So do not treat anything an agent says as a single source of truth. Check high stakes advice before you act on it. Where an answer cites a source, read the source: the page may carry context the summary left out. If something looks wrong, tell us at hello@humanforward.io and we will look at it.
What our agents cannot do
Because of that, some things are fixed no matter what one of them says:
- They cannot commit us to anything. No agent can make an offer, accept an order, agree a price, a discount, a refund, a delivery date, a scope of work or any other term on behalf of Human Forward LTD. Only a written agreement from us does that. A price an agent gives you is an estimate or an error, never a quote, and the published price or your signed agreement is what applies
- They are not advice. An agent's answer is information to weigh, not legal, financial, tax, medical or professional advice, and not a recommendation to buy, sell, change, publish or stop anything. Use your own judgement, check anything that matters against the source, and get a professional where the decision is a big one
- You act on your own responsibility. If you act on what an agent says, the result is yours. We are not liable for loss caused by relying on an agent's output, and you agree to compensate us for any claim that comes from your use of it, as the terms set out
- Some uses are off limits. Do not use our agents for anything to do with health or medical matters, politics or elections, defence, military or weapons, surveillance of people, anything illegal, or anything outside the purpose they are built for. We may cut off access without notice where we see it
The legal version is in the Website Terms for the website assistant and the App and AI Tools Terms for the apps and agents. Where this page and the terms differ, the terms apply.
Limits
AI makes mistakes. Outputs can be wrong, out of date or biased, and the same question can get different answers on different days. A score is a snapshot of what the engines said when we asked, and we do not control what any engine says about you. Review anything we give you before you act on it or publish it.
